Having listen to this musical number every day by non-playing piano students, I decided to compose my arrangement of this famous composition written by Euphema Allen in1877. This is very challenging for all performers, 6/8 meter, eighth sixteenth triplets eighth, arpeggios and scales. Written for xylophone. marimba, chimes, snare drum, bass drum, and bongos. This is a fun work that sounds good and comes together quickly. This publication would be a great piece for small ensemble festivals and contest.
